Rex Camposagrado Is an SEO Expert, digital marketer, thought-leader, mentor, teacher, entrepreneur, and founder of several Internet startup-companies. During his long 20+ year career as an SEO professional, he has performed SEO work for all types of websites from small businesses, large corporations, colleges, ivy league universities, hospitals, publishing companies, and is hired as “the fixer” when high paid digital agencies aren’t moving the SEO needle and clients are not happy with an agencies performance. Rex comes in an SEO advisor and audits the agencies providing their SEO people in depth SEO strategies so that they don’t lose their clients. He has taught, trained, and mentored hundreds of SEO specialists, content writers, editors, and journalists on how to write SEO friendly content for the search engines.
Rex has made various media appearances for his SEO and website work including in-person interviews on CBS2News Chicago, Fox 5 News San Diego, NPR Radio, BBC Radio, The Chicago Tribune, Augusta Chronicle, Examiner Chicago, Action 4 News, News 2 WCBD-TV Charleston, SC, The Boston Globe, The Columbus Dispatch, and has had one of his websites featured in NY Times Square during Thanksgiving and Christmas weeks. He also is asked to do video testimonials for SEO, Digital Marketing, and press release platforms that he commonly uses.
He has always been infatuated with computers and created several computer programs on his own in the mid 80s when he was a kid. He fell in love with the Internet in the mid-90s thinking that it would be so cool to build websites. Rex is very good with logic, analytical, and great at solving puzzles or problems. He is a lifelong learner and constantly seeks out information and education everyday. He’s self taught himself SEO and building websites by reverse engineering website code and reconstructing it back his own way. He also thought it was great to have a website, but when doing it as a hobby he didn’t want to pay for it (pay-per-click ads) so that’s when he began learning SEO…in the early days before Google was officially launched.

Rex is always seeking knowledge and education either self-taught or formal. After attending the University of Illinois at Chicago, he sought out additional former education by attending Oakton Community College minoring in Computer Information Systems, DeVry University with a specialization in Emerging Media Communication where he received his B.S. degree with highest honors “Summa Cumme Laude”. Rex is also completing his graduate degree at Concordia University Chicago – MBA with a concentration in Digital Marketing in which he is also anticipated to graduate with highest honors.
He lives and works in the Chicago area, with his wife and three dogs. He currently works for a corporation performing SEO and Digital Marketing as well as doing Web and SEO Consulting on the side as “the fixer”. In his nonexistent spare time, Rex continues to work on his own websites as a hobby because the Internet world is part of his life, but he also likes the outdoors, hiking, working out, vacations, and a variety of sports activities.
